(GDN) – On Saturday, April 9, 2022, adults and children participated in the 43rd Annual Greater Goldsboro Road Run event called “Run For A Child.” The race included a 10K run, 5K Run/Walk and a 1-Mile Fun Run starting on Center Street in Goldsboro.

The fundraiser is facilitated by the Sunrise Kiwanis of Goldsboro. Officials say the proceeds go toward financial support for over 20 local organizations that assist the needy children and youth of Wayne County.
