William Shaw Frazier, 77, of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at UNC Johnston Health surrounded by his family. William was born in Cumberland County on August 3, 1944 to the late James Luther Frazier, Sr. and Margaret Rebecca Watson Frazier.

William is survived by his loving wife, Marie Frazier; daughters, Amy Ham and husband Tim of Goldsboro, Kristie Batts and husband Ray of Wilson; granddaughters, Destiny Johnson and fiancé Dayde Farrell, Mackinzie Ham and Natalie Ham; sister, Louise Gallagher and husband Dennis of South Carolina; special sister-in-law, Nancy Holloway; niece, Yvonne Creech and husband Richard of Grimesland, N.C. and several other family and friends.

William proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a rifle expert and obtained three honorary service medals including a National defense service medal, Vietnam service medal, and a Vietnam campaign medal. While not working, he loved dancing, listening to his Willie Nelson, and Hank Williams, Jr. CDs, playing his guitar, and fishing, but most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Services are private and will be at the convenience of the family.
