Ta’Korrie Faison scored 21 points, while Tajmari Joyner and Deontay Hooker scored 16 points apiece as Goldsboro defeated North Johnston 85-55 in the semifinals of the Neuse Six 2A Conference tournament on Wednesday evening.
Justice Wooten contributed seven points, and Kenyei Anderson and Myron Miller both scored six points.
Goldsboro (17-4 overall) advances to face rival Eastern Wayne (11-13) in the finals of the conference tournament on Friday. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
