Eastern Wayne celebrated senior night by defeating Goldsboro 56-37 on Friday evening.
The Warriors’ lone senior Jada Hamilton scored a team-high 17 points to lead the Warriors to the victory. Shuntay Douglas scored 14 points, while Trinity Daniels contributed eight points.
The Cougars were paced by Precious Williams with 19 points. Kaila Bell finished the game with 12 points.
Eastern Wayne ends the regular season with a 13-8 overall record, while Goldsboro finishes the regular season with a 4-14 record.
Both teams are back on the court for the Neuse Six 2A Conference tournament.
