Holding onto a 13-12 lead early in the second quarter against Smithfield-Selma, C.B. Aycock used a 10-0 run to build up a 23-12 advantage, and the Golden Falcons never looked back.
C.B. Aycock went on to cruise to a 73-57 victory over their Quad County 3A foe on Tuesday night.
Kris Reid led the Golden Falcons with 17 points, Kamran Prince scored 12 points, Deandre Davis finished with 10 points, while D.J. Prince and Gamere Culver had seven points apiece.
C.B. Aycock improves to17-2 overall and 8-2 in conference play.
The Golden Falcons are back on the court on Thursday. They travel to Hunt (14-3, 8-2) for a key Quad County 3A Conference matchup.
