William Malcolm “Mac” Warren, 67, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

Mac was born in Lenoir County to the late Oscar Truette Warren and Gladys Yates Warren on November 10, 1954. He was a graduate of Eastern Wayne High School where he was a standout football player. Mac had a successful career in plumbing having worked with Quality Plumbing in Goldsboro for over 40 years.

At his request, no formal service will be held.

Mac is survived by his wife of 39 years, Karen Morgan Warren; step-son, Ronnie Chase and wife, Joyce; sister, Karen Jernigan and husband, Kenneth; and brothers, Martin Warren and wife, Judy and Richard Warren and wife Sharon.

In addition to his parents, Mac was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Bargoil.
