(GDN) — A handful of buildings in Downtown Mount Olive are ablaze as of the noon hour. The fire broke out and overtook the buildings on the south end of Center Street. Other nearby structures appear to have heavy smoke damage as well. Several fire departments are on the scene battling the blaze. Everyone is advised to avoid the southern end of Center Street in Downtown Mount Olive at this time.
