November 12, 2021, 86, Patetown –

Zebulon “Zeb” Baird Musgrave of the Patetown community passed away Friday,  November 12, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville surrounded by loved ones. 

Zeb was born in Pikeville on January 9, 1935 to the late Aaron and Lila Edmundson Musgrave. He was an active member of Stoney Creek FWB Church for over 40 years where he served as an usher and president of his Sunday school class. He was a previous member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church and a member of Patetown Volunteer Fire Department for over 45 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Johnnie Faye Musgrave; three daughters, Donna Musgrave Gordin and husband, Harvey of Lewisville, Sonia Musgrave of Goldsboro and Susan Musgrave of Goldsboro; two granddaughters, Kristina Musgrave and Amy Musgrave Benton and husband, Cash; one brother, Joe Musgrave and wife, Linda of Wilson.

Visitation will be held at Stoney Creek FWB Church on Monday,  November 15, 2021 from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. with a service to celebrate his life to follow at 7 p.m..  A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
