John “Jack” C. Wells, 91, of Goldsboro died Nov 10, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Clyde Victor Wells and Mary Elizabeth Critzer Wells and the husband of the late Nina B. Wells. He was an entrepreneur and operated his businesses until his death. John served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, assigned to work on jet engines.

A graveside service in remembrance of his life will be Saturday, 11:00 am, at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service.

John is survived by two sisters, Mildred Louise McDonough and Barbara Ann Pettit of San Antonio, Texas and special friend Elizabeth Huffer of Rockingham, Virginia.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde Austin Wells and Robert Lee Wells.
