Saturday’s blue skies provided the perfect backdrop as aircraft from all over the area flew to the Grantham Airport on Highway 13. The annual Fly-In provided a chance for pilots to chat with one another and show off their planes to the public. Throughout the day, the airplanes took to the sky over Grantham as the pilots demonstrated what their aircraft could do. The kids and parents had the opportunity to check out the planes close up and even talk with the owners. The pilots and guests were treated to a lunch of fresh barbecue and deserts. During the event, an American Bald Eagle made an appearance in the skies over the Fly-In.
