Friday evening’s Grub at The HUB served as a kick-off for NC Freedom Fest activities this weekend. The event was set up just like a Center Street Jam. WGBR’s Jeff Farrow greeted the crowd in Downtown Goldsboro. The band, Soul Psychedelique, entertained the audience, and several food trucks were set up to feed the hungry attendees. Unfortunately, Mother Nature’s unpredictability ended the evening with a heavy downpour just after 7:30 PM.
