WCC Fall Registration Underway

Registration for fall 2021 college credit courses at Wayne Community College is now open.

New and returning students can sign up 8 a.m.-7 p.m., today (July 12), July 20, Aug. 17, and Aug. 18, or during regular office hours through July 28 and Aug. 16-17.

Students are encouraged to register as soon as possible in order to get the courses and schedule they want.

Full-term fall classes, which run 16 weeks, start Aug. 19 and end Dec. 13.

The college also offers 12-week courses, which start Sept. 15, and eight-week courses, which begin Oct. 13.

New students must complete the enrollment process, take any necessary placement tests, and be accepted in order to register for classes. The steps that new students need to take can be found at www.waynecc.edu/apply-now/.

Tuition and fees are due on Aug. 3 for students who register through 4 p.m. on that date and by 7 p.m. on Aug. 18 for those who register Aug. 4-Aug. 18.

Students who graduate from North Carolina high schools in 2021 may be eligible for a Longleaf Commitment Grant of $to $2,800 per academic year for two years to cover tuition and fees. They will be automatically vetted for the grant if they complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

The Foundation of Wayne Community College is accepting applications for scholarships now through July 21. The process must be completed online at www.waynecc.edu/foundation/scholarships/
