Sunday afternoon’s weather was about perfect for the Fourth of July celebration in Mount Olive’s Westbrook Park. About 150 people showed up and set up their chairs and blankets in the shade of the tall pine trees. The event included live music and activities, including rides on the pickle train for the kids. The Independence Day party was put together by the Mount Olive Exchange Club with help from a few local sponsors.
