Southern Wayne fought hard, but the Saints dropped a game against J.H. Rose 11-2 on Wednesday afternoon.
Due to lightning, the game called in the bottom of the seventh inning with J.H. Rose leading 11-2.
Carson Daly had the Saints’ lone RBI in the game.
The loss drops the Saints to 4-9 overall. Southern Wayne will finish off its season at New Bern tomorrow.
