Saturday’s warm weather and clear skies were perfect for the Touch A Truck event held at the Wayne County Fairgrounds. Touch A Truck benefits the Partnership for Children of Wayne County. A large number of trucks and other equipment were on display for all the kids and adults. The families enjoyed the time together and being outside while the police and EMS horns sounded and lights flashed. Of particular interest to the children was the big red fire truck from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. Wayne UNC’s medevac helicopter and the law enforcement chopper also delighted the crowds.
