Jaroslaw “Slav” Dubrowsky, 88, of Goldsboro formerly of Colonial Heights, Virginia passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at Goldsboro Assisted Living & Alzheimer’s Care of Goldsboro.

No formal services will be held.

Mr. Dubrowsky was born in Ukraine on August 19, 1932 to the late Vasyl Dubrowsky and Olga Halkina Dubrowsky. He was a faithful Boy Scout leader while his health permitted.

He is survived by his son, James Michael Dubrowsky and wife, Christine of Goldsboro; one sister, Switlana Mykyttsehak of Germany and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Moore Dubrowsky.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
