City Manager Provides Positive Financial Update As 2020 Ends

Despite a raging pandemic that has shuttered businesses across America, there is some positive economic news in Goldsboro.

As 2020 wound down, Goldsboro City Manager Tim Salmon says permit applications are up about 10%, at over $100 million, for the 2020 calendar year.

Also, the city manager says sales tax for Financial Year 2020-2021 is up 11% for July and August.

Salmon provided the promising financial information at the final Goldsboro City Council meeting of 2020 last month.
