Miss Emily Caroliine Outlaw, 32 year old daughter of Stanley Wayne and Connie Reaves Outlaw of the Scott’s Store community near Mount Olive, passed away quietly Wednesday, June 17, 2020 while she was sleeping.

Emily graduated from North Duplin High School with its 2008 graduating class. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Albertson.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 20, at 4 p.m. at Linwood M. Outlaw Family Cemetery located across from the family residence. The Rev. Lawrence Taylor will preside.In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial gifts be made to Duplin County Animal Shelter in honor of Emily’s great love for animals and concern for their welfare.

Along with her parents, Emily is survived by her brother, Stanley Nicholas Outlaw of Greenville; her paternal grandparents, Linwood M. “Skint” and Joyce Outlaw of Mount Olive; her beloved fur babies; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Outlaw and Reaves families.

Her maternal grandparents, Lloyd “Jack” and Thelma B. Reaves, preceded her in death.
