May 1, 74, Pikeville

Lois Greene Reid, 74, of Pikeville went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, May 01, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Viewing will be held at Little Rock Church of Christ in Pikeville on Friday with a graveside service to follow at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley for family and close friends.

Mrs. Reid was born in Wayne County on March 02, 1946 to the late Carl Greene and Mary Ella Mickens Greene.  She was a member of Little Rock Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ where she served as Missionary Treasurer.  Mrs. Reid also assisted with maintenance and care of her church.  She also was a member of the TOM Club.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Sgt. Ben Reid Jr.; two daughters, Angela Trinette Reid and Stephanie Patrice Reid, both of Pikeville; one sister, Mary Christine Reid of Pikeville; five grandchildren, Cameron Rashon Rowe, Benjamin Alexander Reid, Trever Bryan Reid, Kristopher Nicholas Reid and Skylar Trinette Reid; and her longtime friends, Dollie Peacock Gerald, Doris Smith and Ethel Peterson.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reid was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Reid, five brothers and three sisters.
