Traffic Stop Leads To Cocaine Charge

On Sunday, deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle on U.S. 117 South near Old Mount Olive Highway for a traffic violation. The deputies reportedly spotted contraband and the vehicle was searched.  A passenger inside the vehicle, 30-year-old Antwain Marque Grantham of Goldsboro, was allegedly found to be in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Grantham was arrested for Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $2,000 secured bond.
