As the 2020 Community Campaign winds down, the United Way of Wayne County still has just a little way to go before crossing the finish line.
This week, the United Way announced it had reached 80% of its goal for this year’s Community Campaign.
United Way Executive Director Sherry Archibald appeared on Jeff Farrow’s Morning Show on Goldsboro’s Greatest Hits 1150 and 98.3.
She says they’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with other organizations to assist Wayne County residents.
So far, the United Way has raised $728,165 out if its goal for $900,000.
That’s enough to impact 14,563 lives in Wayne County.
