GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair continued its celebration of student achievement, creativity, and education on Friday, October 9, as local students earned top honors in the Science Contest and Best All Around Educational Booth competition.
Students from several Wayne County schools showcased their knowledge, teamwork, and creativity, highlighting the importance of hands-on learning and educational opportunities.
Science Contest Winners
Spring Creek High School took home first-place honors in the Science Contest, with Alexis Deitz and Johana Lopez earning the top spot.
Charles B. Aycock High School students Josslyn Snyder and Kadance Silvis claimed second place, while Rosewood High School students Aiden Reyome and Daniel Barnes finished third.
Best All Around Educational Booth Winners
Spring Creek High School also earned top honors in the Best All Around Educational Booth competition, with its Family & Consumer Sciences exhibit taking first place.
Goldsboro High School’s Public Safety & Emergency Management exhibit received second place, while Spring Creek High School’s FFA exhibit earned third place.
The educational booth competition provided an opportunity for students to showcase their programs while sharing valuable information with fairgoers.
