GOLDSBORO, N.C. — As the one-year anniversary of Tra’sond Marquail McNeil’s disappearance approaches, the Goldsboro Police Department is renewing its appeal to the public for information that could help investigators determine what happened to the missing 22-year-old.
McNeil was reported missing on November 8, 2025, from the 600 block of Sherard Court in Goldsboro. Nearly a year later, his family continues to search for answers, holding on to hope that someone in the community may have information that could help bring clarity and closure.
According to investigators, McNeil was last seen wearing a black shirt with a red design, light blue jeans, and blue-and-white sneakers.
Police believe McNeil was taken from Sherard Court in a blue vehicle that traveled south on U.S. Highway 117 toward Dudley.
McNeil is described as approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing around 160 pounds.

The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding McNeil’s disappearance.
