Two Goldsboro cheer squads returned home with impressive finishes after competing against some of the Southeast’s top teams at the Champions in Motion Beach Bash Nationals in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The national competition, held on July 19, brought together teams from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, all competing for national titles after months of preparation and dedication.
Leading the way was Goldsboro’s Level 2 D2 Cosmic Strike, which captured the National Championship after an outstanding season that saw the squad consistently earn first-place finishes.
The championship victory capped off a remarkable year for Cosmic Strike, rewarding the athletes and coaches for countless hours of practice and hard work.
Goldsboro’s Level 3 D3 Planet X squad also turned in an impressive performance, earning 5th place in a highly competitive national field.
Both teams represented Goldsboro with pride, showcasing their talent, teamwork, and determination on the national stage.
Coaches praised the athletes for their commitment throughout the season, noting that months of preparation paid off as the teams competed against some of the best cheer programs in the region.
The strong showing at Nationals highlights the continued success of Goldsboro’s cheer program and provides another milestone for the athletes, their families, and the local community to celebrate.
