GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Southern Wayne Sanitary District has released its proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 and is inviting residents to review the document and provide feedback during an upcoming public hearing.
According to district officials, the proposed budget has been submitted to the Board and is available for public inspection at the office of the Clerk to the Board, located at 1370 Old Grantham Road in Goldsboro.
Community members will have an opportunity to learn more about the proposed spending plan and share their comments during a public hearing scheduled for Monday, June 9, at 6:30 p.m. The hearing will be held in the district’s boardroom.
Officials encourage interested citizens to review the proposed budget before attending the hearing.
