May 18, 2026, 72, Kenly – Sharon Diane Stanley Davis, 72, of Kenly passed away at Smithfield Manor Nursing and Rehab on Monday, May 18, 2026. She was born in Harnett County on November 3, 1953 to the late Julius Calton Stanley and Mary Wheeler Stanley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Durwood Dale Davis; sisters, Faye Stanley and Sue Higgins; brothers, Durwood Dale Stanley and Jimmy Dean Stanley; brother-in-law, Jimmy Earp.
Diane was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and working with Special Olympics Johnston County.
She is survived by husband, Aaron Eugene Davis, son, Tony Davis and wife, Jennifer of Selma; brother, Danny Stanley and wife, Cindy of Princeton; sister, Kay Earp of Pine Level; granddaughter, April Edmundson and husband, Austin.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations. The service will begin at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations with the Reverend Ralph Parker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made the Special Olympics of Johnston County.
