May 19, 2026, 80, Goldsboro – Janice Laverne Strickland, age 80 , of Goldsboro passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at her home. Born in Wayne County to the late Chellie Allice Strickland.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 22, 2026 at Wayne Memorial Park, Pastor Andy Stovalll will be presiding. The family will greet friends briefly following the service at the cemetery. At other times they will be meeting at Ray and Gloria Evans’ home, 105 Mansion Lane Goldsboro, NC 27524.
She is survived by her siblings, Leslie Gerald Strickland, Wallace Berry Strickland and wife Kathy, Dwight Darwin Strickland and wife Norma, Gloria Strickland Evans and husband Ray and Gretel Renee Ward and husband William. Also surviving is her “Special God Children – Aurora Hogue, Autmn Hogue, Emma Crosby and Kamryn Strickland.
