May 14, 2026, 68, Goldsboro – Wanda Worthington Bonner, age 68, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026. She was born in Martin County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of her late father, Albert Eugene Worthington and her late mother Mary Della Worthington. She worked as a security guard at Carolina Turkey before her retirement. She loved to garden with a particular interest in sunflowers, having grown several types over her life.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Lynn Bonner; her daughters, Jamie Bonner, Jeannie Buchan, and Sarah Bonner. As well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Bonner and her brother, Steven Eugene Worthington.
