GOLDSBORO, NC – Job seekers and community members looking to build financial stability and career opportunities are invited to attend the “Pathways to Prosperity” Empowerment and Economic Growth Career & Resource Fair in Goldsboro.
The event, hosted by the Goldsboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in partnership with the City of Goldsboro, is designed to connect attendees with local employers and valuable community resources.
Scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the fair will take place at the H.V. Brown/Dillard Alumni Building, located at 801 Poplar Street.
Organizers say the event will feature a variety of services aimed at strengthening economic mobility, including a Financial Empowerment Zone, resume writing and interview preparation assistance, and access to workforce opportunities. Attendees can also take advantage of computer skills training, connect with second-chance employers, and receive counseling and support services.
In addition to these resources, the event will include transformational speakers and networking opportunities intended to inspire and equip participants with tools for long-term success.
Community leaders say the fair reflects a broader effort to build economic power locally by providing direct access to employment pathways and support systems.
The event is free and open to the public.
