April 18, 2026, 81, Mount Olive – Ms. Doris Bryant, 81, answered the Master’s call on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro. NC.
Doris Gray Bryant was born on January 16, 1945, in Wayne County to the late John Thomas Bryant and Geneva Sanders Bryant.
She was a devoted member of Payne Temple AME Zion Church and a longtime employee of Mount Olive Pickle Company, where she dedicated many years of service.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory to her children, Elizebeth Williams of Halifax, NC, Shirley Mahoney of Texas, James Lee Hand of the home, Pamela Hand of Faison, NC and Kimyata Bryant of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Sharsmaine, Brianna, Devin, and Elijah; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Earline Troublefield, Vera Mae Worrell, Josephine Glaspie and Vonnell Bryant and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
