GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Wayne Community College will welcome the community for an evening of creativity and performance during its annual Spring Fine Arts Festival on Thursday, April 30.
The event begins at 6 p.m. with a student art showcase inside the Wayne Learning Center, where attendees can explore artwork created by students throughout the spring semester. The exhibit will be located on the first floor of the building, recognizable as the main campus structure with flagpoles in front.
At 7 p.m., the evening continues with a live performance by the WCC choir in Moffatt Auditorium. The choir will present a variety of musical selections spanning multiple genres, including folk, gospel, and jazz.
College officials say the festival is designed to celebrate student talent while providing the community with an opportunity to enjoy local visual and performing arts.
The Spring Fine Arts Festival is free and open to the public.
