WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. — Early voting is continuing across Wayne County ahead of the March 3 Primary, with polls set to open again Saturday, Feb. 21.
According to the Wayne County Board of Elections, the county has 76,382 eligible voters. As of this week, 3,499 ballots have already been cast during the early voting period.
Early voting sites will be open Saturday, Feb. 21, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Polls will be closed Sunday, Feb. 22, before resuming an extended weekday schedule.

Voters may cast their ballots at any early voting site in the county during operating hours.
Election officials encourage residents to take advantage of early voting to avoid potential lines on Election Day, which is Tuesday, March 3.
