Rockingham, N.C. — Goldsboro Galaxy cheer teams delivered a standout performance at the Champion In Motion Cheerleading State Competition on Feb. 7, returning home with state championships across all competitive levels.
Competing in Rockingham, every Goldsboro Galaxy team — Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 — earned top honors, capturing state titles and showcasing the dedication, skill and teamwork that define the program. Coaches and supporters praised the athletes for their energy, heart and commitment, noting that the sweep reflects countless hours of practice and preparation.
“Goldsboro Galaxy showed out and proved that hard work truly pays off,” organizers said following the competition.
With the state championships secured, Champions in Motion is now turning its focus to the upcoming spring season. Registration is officially open, offering opportunities for beginners, first-time cheerleaders and experienced athletes alike. The program is open to all levels and emphasizes an inclusive, supportive environment where every athlete belongs.
Champions in Motion offers a budget-friendly structure with a one-time $15 membership registration fee and weekly classes priced at $13. Classes are divided by age group, including ages 4–6, 7–9 and 10 and older. Organizers note that space is limited and spots are filling quickly.
Those interested in joining the spring season can secure membership and select age-appropriate classes through the Champions in Motion registration platform.
As the program looks ahead to a new season, leaders say the recent state championship sweep sets the tone for continued growth, excitement and success for Goldsboro Galaxy cheerleaders.
