GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Cougar Nation is rallying with pride as Goldsboro High School alumnus Jarran Reed prepares to compete on football’s biggest stage.
Reed, a member of Goldsboro High School’s Class of 2011, will play in Super Bowl LX this Sunday as part of the Seattle Seahawks. From wearing Cougar blue and gold in the halls of GHS to lining up under the bright lights of the Super Bowl, Reed’s journey stands as a powerful example of dedication, perseverance, and hometown pride.
Despite his success at the professional level, Reed has never forgotten where it all began. He continues to give back to the Goldsboro community by hosting his annual Jarran Reed Football Camp, providing local students with mentorship, skills training, and inspiration both on and off the field.
To celebrate one of its own, Goldsboro High School is inviting students, staff, and the community to come together for a Super Bowl Watch Party in the school commons this Sunday, where Cougar Nation will cheer Reed on as he competes for a championship.
