WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. — Wayne County Government offices will be closed on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, due to hazardous travel conditions following the weekend’s winter weather event.
Despite the office closures, the Wayne County Board of Commissioners will proceed with its regularly scheduled February 3 meeting in a remote format. The meeting will be held pursuant to the provisions of NCGS §166A-19.24 and will be broadcast live on the county’s official YouTube channel.

Wayne County Emergency Services continues to closely monitor weather and road conditions and is coordinating with local and state partners to ensure public safety.
