GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Goldsboro City Council will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, January 20, instead of Monday, January 19, due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
The meeting will include several recognitions and presentations, highlighted by a community policing update that will provide council members and the public with an overview of current public safety and engagement efforts.
Residents will have the opportunity to address the council during the public comment period.
Council members will also consider a consent agenda that includes the donation of personal property to the Wayne County Fireman’s Association, an amendment to the FY26 operating budget, and the acceptance of departmental monthly reports.
Under old business, the council will receive an update on the Saving Union Station initiative and hear a presentation from ETC Institute on the results of the 2025 City of Goldsboro Resident Survey, offering insight into community priorities and satisfaction.
