GOLDSBORO, NC – Goldsboro’s Commission on Community Relations and Development will host its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Luncheon at noon Monday, Jan. 19, at The First PH Church, located at 1100 The First Church Road.
The event will feature Bishop W. Darin Moore as the keynote speaker. Moore serves as the presiding bishop of the Eastern District of the AME Zion Church and is known for his leadership and advocacy within faith-based and community organizations.
Tickets for the luncheon are $40 and may be purchased through any member of the Commission on Community Relations and Development. A list of commission members is available on the City of Goldsboro’s website at www.goldsboronc.gov. The deadline to purchase tickets is Jan. 9.
