GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Get ready for a paws-itively spooktacular afternoon in Downtown Goldsboro as Curtis Media Group partners with Downtown Goldsboro Development Corporation (DGDC) to present a Howl-O-Ween Costume Showcase on Saturday, October 24, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Presented by Houser Injury Law, this free, family-friendly event invites pet owners to dress up their furry best friends in their most creative, spooky, funny, or adorable Halloween costumes for a chance to win some exciting prizes.
Whether your four-legged companion is dressed as a superhero, a pumpkin, a princess, or a spooky ghost, this is their opportunity to strut their stuff and show off their Halloween spirit!
Registration is FREE and will take place at the event. Pet owners can register their furry friends and walk them across the stage, where a panel of mystery judges will select three lucky winners.
Each of the three winners will receive a prize package featuring:
-
A bag of pet food and a gift card from Pet Supplies Plus
-
A plush pickleball paddle toy with a ball
-
Downtown Shopping Dollars
But the fun doesn’t stop at the costume showcase!
Pet owners and their four-legged companions can visit several special treat stations throughout the event, including the Curtis Media Bone Bar, First Baptist Church Pup Cup Station, and Piggly Wiggly Watering Hole.
Presenting sponsor Houser Injury Law will also host a special Spin to Win activity, where everyone who participates will walk away with a prize.
Additional community partners joining the festivities include Wayne Community College, Musgrave, and Down East Furniture.
