MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. — The Town of Mount Olive is alerting motorists to a temporary road closure on North Chestnut Street while crews complete sewer line repairs.
North Chestnut Street is closed between Henderson Street and North Westbrook Street. The closure is expected to remain in effect through October 10, 2026.
According to the town, the closure is necessary to allow crews to safely perform repairs to the sewer line.
Motorists traveling through the area should use alternate routes and allow additional time to reach their destinations.
The Town of Mount Olive will provide additional information if the repair schedule or road closure changes.
