GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A 39-year-old man is facing multiple felony charges following an investigation into a break-in at a business in the Rosewood community, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives began investigating on Aug. 10 after a breaking and entering was reported at Country Fruit Stand #2, located at 100 Community Drive in Goldsboro.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, investigators identified Christopher Michael Peeler, 39, as one of the suspects in the case.
Peeler was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering and felony conspiracy.
Authorities said Peeler was arrested and turned over to the Wayne County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.
The Sheriff’s Office indicated that more than one individual was identified during the investigation. Information on any additional defendant was not included in the details provided.
The charges are allegations, and Peeler is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
