July 19, 2026, 60, Goldsboro – Jeffrey Carl Rose, 60, passed away peacefully at his home early Sunday morning, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Wayne County on February 3, 1966, Jeff was the son of the late Douglas M. Rose and Patricia Ann Lipscomb Rose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Rose.
Jeff was a good carpenter whose craftsmanship and attention to detail earned him an outstanding reputation throughout the community. For many years he owned and operated his own business, and his skill and integrity made him a trusted choice for countless families and customers. Later in his career, he worked with Naviant, where he helped manufacture bullet-resistant materials.
Outside of work, Jeff found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was a devoted New York Yankees fan who rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on his team. He also loved spending time fishing, finding peace and relaxation on the water. Above all, Jeff treasured his family. Whether sharing stories, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying time together, the moments spent with those he loved meant the most to him.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at the Pittman Family Cemetery, 602 Pinkney Church Road, Fremont, NC, with Pastor Marty Gurganus officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
Jeff leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 40 years, Sharon Pittman Rose; his sons, David Allen Rose and wife, Brittany, Joseph Daniel Rose, and Jeffrey Dylan Rose and wife, Heather; his cherished grandchildren, Eli, Kip, Declan, Isabella, and Triston; his brother, Paul Rose; and many extended family members and friends who will forever remember his kind heart, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family.
Though he will be deeply missed, Jeff’s legacy lives on through the family he loved so dearly.
