July 8, 2026, 86, Holly Springs – Margaret Faye Langley Charette, 86, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 surrounded by her family. Born in Johnston County on February 7, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Claudie Rudolph Langley and Elizabeth Inez Barnes Langley.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff “Frenchie” Charette, Sr.; and sister, Elizabeth “Polly” Pauline Boykin.
Faye is survived by her son, Cliff Charette, Jr. and fiancée, Pamela Robinson; granddaughter, Sarah Carey and husband, David; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Brynlee, Holland, and Piper; and sister, Edith Langley Boyette.
Faye lived a life marked by faith, hard work, and a love for those around her. She dedicated many years of her career to Imperial Tobacco Company, where she was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to her job.
Her faith was the foundation of her life. Faye was a devoted member of Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church, where she found joy in worship, fellowship, and serving alongside her church family. Her church was a place that brought her great comfort and purpose throughout the years.
In her free time, Faye enjoyed shopping, and one of her favorite places to visit was Belk, where she loved browsing for just the right find. Whether spending time with family, enjoying a shopping trip, or attending church, she appreciated life’s simple blessings and the people who made it special.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 10 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Kenly Funeral Service. Interment services will be held at Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
