May 14, 2026, 70, Goldsboro – Beverly Carter Garris, 70, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Wayne UNC Hospital. Born in Wayne County on October 26, 1955, she was daughter to the late Raymond Carter and Sadie Irene Brock.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at New Hope Friends Church. A service to celebrate Beverly’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the sanctuary with Pastor Andrew Hise officiating. Interment will conclude in the New Hope Friends Church Cemetery.
The family is in the care of Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
