March 17, 2026, 87, Raleigh – Theresa Hinton Dodds, 87, of Raleigh, passed away peacefully in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
Theresa was born in Goldsboro, NC to the late Fannie Howell and William Albert Hinton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Billie Frances Hinton and her cousin, Gloria Fitz of York, PA.
She is survived by her long-time companion, George Cribbs Dodds; step-daughters Georgia Dodds Foley (Tim), Stephanie Dodds (Marty) and Christine Glass (Jerry); cousins Styron Harris, Johnson City, TN and Maryann Grimes of Raleigh; as well as other family and many close friends.
A graveside service to honor Theresa’s life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery in Goldsboro.
