GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A Goldsboro woman has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred in early February, according to the Goldsboro Police Department.
Officers responded around 12:10 a.m. on Feb. 7, 2026, to a reported stabbing at UNC Health Wayne. Police said the victim drove himself to the hospital before being transferred to ECU Health Medical Center for further treatment.
During the investigation, detectives identified a suspect and obtained a warrant charging Marie Mosely of Goldsboro with one count of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.
On March 3, 2026, members of the department’s Criminal Investigations Division, with assistance from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, arrested Mosely without incident.
Mosely is being held without bond due to pending charges.
