February 1, 2026, 83, Four Oaks – Marshall Henry Whitley, 83, of Four Oaks passed away at his home on Sunday, February 1, 2026. He was born in Johnston County on April 23, 1942 to the late Harvey Greene Whitley and Rachel Daphney Rhodes Whitley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Smith Whitley; son, Tony Marshall Whitley and daughter-in-law, Melisea Whitley.
He is survived by sons, Tommy Ray Whitley (Stephanie), Terry Wayne Whitley (Tammy), Jamie Travis Whitley, and Christopher Mark Whitley (Michelle); daughter, Shirley Elaine Toole (Bobby); daughter-in-law, Tina Whitley; 21 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Don Dewberry officiating.
The family will receive friends at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
