MOUNT OLIVE, NC — The University of Mount Olive Department of Athletics has announced multiple cancellations and schedule changes impacting tennis, baseball, and the 2026 Conference Carolinas DEVO Men’s Basketball Championship Preliminary Round.
Men’s and women’s tennis matches originally scheduled for this week have been canceled and will not be rescheduled. The women’s tennis match set for Tuesday at 2 p.m. and the men’s match scheduled for Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. have both been called off.
In addition, Mount Olive’s baseball game against Coker, originally scheduled for Tuesday, has been postponed. A makeup date is planned for later in March, with details to be announced.
Weather-related adjustments have also been made to the 2026 Conference Carolinas DEVO Men’s Basketball Championship Preliminary Round. The preliminary round will now be held on Sunday, Feb. 8, at Mount Olive. The updated schedule is as follows:

3:00 p.m. – Chowan vs. Barton

5:00 p.m. – Winner of Game 1 vs. Francis Marion
