January 22, 2026, 75, Goldsboro – Willie Jones Summerlin, Jr., 75, completed his earthly journey on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Born in Guilford County on February 28, 1950, he was son to the late Willie Jones Summerlin, Sr. and Josephine Jones Summerlin.
Willie is survived by his sons, Nick Summerlin (Brandy Bolens) and Trey Summerlin; his significant other, Donna Cannon; his granddaughters, Alivia and Ava Summerlin; his niece, Brittney Adler (Derrick); his great nephews, Jack and Henry Adler; and his cousin, Linda Juba.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Taylor.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home for a time of visitation. A service to honor Willie’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Bill Rose officiating.
