Still here on this earth are her three daughters, Lori Margaret King, Carol Leigh King Lawrence and husband, David Lawrence, which has always been a constant rock for her family, Layne Hawley King, and stepson, Ed Holland and wife Nancy Holland, two brothers, Steve Jackson, Scott Jackson and wife Bernice. She was so proud of her grandchildren: Clark Wallce, Tyler Braxton (Laura), Trey Holland (Jenn), Kari Margaret Braxton, Hope King, Heather King (Josh), Justin Lawrence (Sarah), Cory Johnson (Rachel), Cara Keever (Callahan), Hannah King. Her great-grandchildren, Maverick, Lennox, Decklan, Banaiah, and newest great-grandson, Reid Lawrence.
Lori, Leigh, David, and Layne have been a haven for their mother but are relieved she will not be in physical pain any longer. She passed away peacefully at The Landings of Swansboro surrounded by her girls, David, Clark, and friend Lauren. Special appreciation to Erika Miller of the landings for the love shown and for being with the family during this transition of life. She had many aids that assisted her over the past several years at The Landings that she thought so much of. Also, to Gentiva Hospice for the care shown in her last weeks of life. There have been so many aids that were special to her.
The thing about love is, when we love deep, we hurt deep. The only comfort is knowing your loved one is at peace and with the loved ones that passed before them and are in their eternal home with the Lord.
Myra loved people but knew Christ was enough and He is Lord. She wanted all to know Jesus.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National MS Society at https://events.nationalmssociety.org/participants/InMemoryOfMyraHolland or to the Carolina Pregnancy Center, 209 E Arlington Blvd, Greenville, NC 27858.
