Girls Tennis: C.B. Aycock Clinches Share Of Eastern Carolina 3A/4A Conference Title

C.B. Aycock avenged its only loss of the season on Tuesday.

The Golden Falcons traveled to Greenville and defeated J.H. Rose 5-4 in a hard-fought match.

The score was tied at four each with only the No. 2 doubles left to finish. It was a tight battle, but in the end, C.B. Aycock finished it off and won in a tiebreaker at 8-6

“The team has really worked hard and it showed today. All three seniors had at least one win and Karlyn Ray had her best performance of the season winning at No.1 singles and doubles,” C.B. Aycock head coach Gene Stancil said.
